Cambridge Queens Veterinary Hospital

Visbion has significant experience in deploying PACS solutions in both large veterinary hospitals and small veterinary practices with the minimum of disruption to the daily work. As part of the carefully project managed and staged deployment of PACS to QVSH, Visbion provided:

• A thorough site audit

• Advice and implementation of a secure imaging network

• Deployment of VPACS in a single day

• Time-saving benefits from day one

• On-site training of all staff members and students

VPACS at Cambridge Queens Veterinary School Hospital:

• Connects a wide range of imaging devices – the VPACS system brings together two computed radiography systems, ultrasound, an open low-field MRI and a standing equine MRI, the equine scintigraphy unit, and the new radiotherapy unit

• Improved clinical service – VPACS has revolutionised clinical access to imaging services and provides advanced tools for the review and manipulation of images

• Improved student access – student’s individual secure log-in gives them access to images both from around the University and from their own home computers

• Research capability – VPACS facilitates research of historic and live cases, providing clinicians and students with analysis and research tools not previously available

Visbion’s VPACS has revolutionised the way we manage our images within the Hospital. The implementation was painless and I can strongly recommend the Visbion solution.
